The Preparation Guidelines to Certify Repositories: A Case of Thai Institutional Repositories
Synopsis
This study aims to set up the preparation guidelines to certify long term archives as trustworthy digital repositories, if institutional repositories are the storage of research output of the organizations such as libraries, archives, and museums. From the study of Wipawin (2017)1 found that most Thai universities agree on the possibility to apply the basic standard of the trusted digital repository. They are well prepared to adopt international standards to validate research data quality in institutional repositories, especially in digital materials management.
