Synopsis

The main purpose of this article is to demonstrating of the effectiveness and safety of the tonsillectomy in the treatment of the peritonsillar abscess. Peritonsillar abscess (PTA) is one of the most common complications of acute tonsillitis, which does not pass without emergency surgery. And therefore tonsillectomy is important in the treatment of PTA.
