Synopsis

We have introduced thermally and chemically stable metal free carica papaya seed ash (CPS) from a bio-waste, heterogeneous catalyst for organic synthesis. Moreover, the main advantages of this CPS catalyst like simple procedure, reusability and lower cost. The CPS catalyst physical and chemical properties were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction studies, and EDX analysis. In continuation, we have synthesized of benzoxazole derivatives from aminophenol and aldehydes by using CPS catalyst. The synthesized compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR techniques.
