Chapter 2: Environmental Conditions of Red Sea
Synopsis
This chapter deals with Red Sea Morphology, Geological Setting, meteorological and oceanographic parameters. It summarizes the description of the physical parameters and behaviour of air, sea and land of the Red Sea environment. The Red Sea area was Longley been neglected and remained undeveloped until the 1973 war. Even in the beginning of the present century when the oil fields were discovered on both sides of the Gulf of Suez, the area left to the oil and mining companies. Therefore, these companies carried out some sorts of development according to their needs.
